Weekend Wrap Up

What a weekend.....

My weekend started out super. :) Friday morning I got to help out at school with Teddy Bear Day!! We had a great time. I am so thankful that I am able to be a part of all the activities!! I am blessed!

Friday evening I met Steph at the Oyster Bar for a much needed dinner date! We had drinks, food, laughs and tears! It was great!!! I had a wonderful time. It is amazing how just sitting and talking can make you feel so much better. Thanks for the invite Steph! I hope that we can do it again soon!!!

Saturday morning we were up early for Abby's soccer game. She did not seem to be feeling 100% but she went out there and played and had lots of fun:) Here are a couple of pics.

After the soccer game we headed home to take a nap...we were all tired from having to get up so early, we are not used to getting up early on the weekends. After the nap Abby woke up feeling bad again. She was running a fever and throwing up again so we headed to the ER around 2:30. I was worried that her UTI from almost two weeks ago was not cleared up and that she was getting sick with that all over again. And after being there till almost 8:00 pm we found out that she did still have the UTI and that she had some blood in her urine. We had a terrible time up there. They had to draw blood and give her some fluids...For most of the time that we were up there I am pretty sure that I was in tears. She was breaking my heart. I hate hate hate when my baby girl is sick. When we first got there she was not too bad but the longer we were there the worse she got and she was not happy to find out that she was going to have to have an IV and blood drawn.

She seems to be feeling a little better today. She has not been eating much but she is drinking plenty and watching football with her Daddy and I. :) I hope that tomorrow she will be feeling good enough to go to school. She will not want to stay home. 

Today we are hanging out at the house being lazy and watching football and baseball!!! I am loving it. Hope everyone has a great Sunday evening!!!

Weekend Wrap Up

Sunday's this time of year consist of football. And I love it. It is not long till the Cowboys game and I hope that they pull it together and get a "W"!!!

Abby and I cleaned her room from top to bottom this morning and got rid of a bunch of toys that she has not played with in forever. I was surprised that she did not try to keep everything that I tried to throw away. She really does not like to get rid of things. :( And I hate having a bunch of clutter. It is time to de-clutter this house before the big move. Kind of a "out with the old, in with the new" thing. I absolutely love that I can actually enjoy my weekends now that I am not working. I used to spend the weekend catching up on all the house work and laundry but not anymore. :) I love it.

Yesterday, Abby and I went shopping with my Mom at Walmart. I really hate Walmart. It is always a mad house in there! And people are so damn rude these days. Abby got her hair trimmed and the new Barbie movie that she has been waiting on F.O.R.E.V.E.R! She was so ready to get home and watch it. But by the time we got home and unloaded everything we got hit with a pretty good storm and had no power for quite awhile. So we ended up just laying on my bed, looking out the window watching the storm. So thankful that we got some much needed rain!!

Not sure what my week will entail but I think that Monday I will go and have lunch with Abby. I think that I will surprise her. I would love to take a few pics of her and her friends playing at recess and eating lunch. :)

Well it is time to fix a snack for the Cowboys game!!!

Great Weekend

This has been a great weekend. I have gotten so much done. I am a little sad that I did not get my Christmas stuff up yet but I am thinking that we will have time this week after work to get it all done. I love this time of year.

So I have been telling my brother all week that the Cowboys were going to win this game and guess what.....THEY DID!!! I love it. So maybe good things will continue to happen with Phillips gone.

We went out to my Moms for supper this evening. It was wonderful. Love love spending time with the fam. We watched the game and Toy Story 3. That was a great movie. Hell it made me cry. Abby really loved it. I have been trying to talk her into watching it but she kept saying that she did not want to but she finally watched it today. So now we are having to call her Jessie.:) So cute. And she just added about 10 more things to her Christmas list. I am really glad that she watched it. Now I just have to get her to watch 1 and 2.  I don't think that she will have a problem with watching them now.

Back to work in the AM. :( It should be a nice and busy week....I hope.

Weekends Make Me :)

I love the weekends. I really don't think that there is a better time during the week. Today was a busy day at work, I am not complaining the least bit tho. It is a nice change of pace for all of us. I can say that I freaking love to see all of us in the office pull together and just get shit done with no problems. That shit just makes the day and the work load even better. And it is all done with smiles. That is how it should be and that is how we do it!! It is wonderful. But I still love my weekends so much.
   I love to be able to just be with my baby girl all day long and not have to go and do anything. We do have plans in the morning and Abby and I are pretty excited about it. We are going to Christmas Magic. My niece Makayla is singing with her choir there. I can't wait. Plus I hear that there are so great things there to buy!! I am sure that it will be a wonderful time. I will be taking my camera to take some pics of Makayla singing and I will be sure to post a couple. I hope that Abby wakes up in the morning in a good mood and I hope that her ears are working. :) Sometimes they don't work very well. I think that she gets that from her Dad!;)

What a Weekend!

Really is it Sunday already??? This weekend went by so fast. We were so busy all weekend. I am glad that I get to rest tomorrow since I am off. :) Abby and I will be having a Momma Daughter day. I love days like that.
     I posted pics from the Halloween Party, We had a blast. It was great to have most of the fam together and some friends as well. We had lots of great food, drinks and lots and lots of candy. The kids played games inside and outside, went trick-or-treating and then came back to the house for a cake walk and more games. They had a blast. Abby loved her costume. She was so cute. Everyone that dressed up looked great. But I think that my brother, Colten, had the best costume. I really could not stop laughing at his chest hair. OMG. They cut some hair off the wig that he had and glued it to his chest. It was the greatest. I will be laughing about that for a while. :) I am glad that it all turned out good. My Mom and I are worn out from getting everything together. It is really a lot of work planning a party and getting it all together. But it was well worth it. Lots of good times with the fam.

  Abby did not wake up til 10 this am. I was so surprised and so happy about that. I was so damn tired. I thought that I would be able to have time for us to take a nap today but we were just to busy. :( So I did get the house all cleaned up and I have been doing laundry off and on all day long. We went out to my Moms for supper and hung out there for a little while. My sis in law Melanie and Michelle came out and had supper with us and chilled. We had a great time. I have really enjoyed getting to spend time with Mel, Michelle and the girls. We all have a really great time together. Which is great because Mel is really the only person from Justin's family that we see and that we are close to. I am so thankful that she is always there for Justin because no one else in his family is.

   Tomorrow I am off work and I am not doing anything. I think that Abby and I will just hang out at the house, play some games, play outside, watch some T.V, and if there is enough time we will do some laundry. Haha.
 Man, I am so sick of allergies!! I have been feeling like crap. And I don't know why but as soon as I get ready to go to bed my nose gets all stuffy and crap and then I can't sleep. Well I think that my allergy meds have just kicked in so I am gonna head to bed.

    

Weekend Wrap Up

What the heck?!?! Really is it already time for Monday??? Blah I hate that. The weekend went by way too fast. I have to go in early to work in the morning....but I will be getting of early I hope. It should be a pretty quite day. We don't have very many patients and there will just be me and one other girl working in the office. I am going to go in with the mind set that I am going to get a bunch of work done! I think that I will have plenty of time to get everything done and that will make the rest of the week easier for me. We have not been very busy at work the past few months or so they say that we haven't so they have been trying to send people home when we don't have many cases. For that very reason I will be off work on Wed. It is kinda bittersweet. I will enjoy the day off and I have things that I need to do but I also need the money. Christmas is really not very far away. It is crazy to think about. I really just get stressed at the thought.
     Today was pretty nice. My Mom and I worked on the Halloween games and decorations. I am so excited about it. All the kids are going to have so much fun. Abby and I did some crafts. I cleaned her room and I have been working on laundry as well. It's funny, I just really can't get into doing the laundry today. I have wanted to do everything but that. Haha. I think it is because I know that I have a day off this week and I will have time to do it then. Which is really silly. I should just get it done now and then when I am off I can just relax. But I guess that I don't like to do things the easy way.
     I think that it is time for a hot bath while Abby watches some cartoons and eats some mac n cheese. I need a little me time.
