First post of 2012...

It has been quite sometime since I have had the chance to post anything. I have tried to make a little time here are there to catch up on my blog reading, thank goodness. :)

Things have been so busy with the holidays and all, it has just been crazy. I am ready for the slow down.

My baby girl will be 6 years old on Tuesday.. I am just at a loss about it. Wow. It has been six whole years. I have no idea where the time has gone. It would be great if time could be my friend and not go by so freaking fast! I am not ready for my daughter to be getting all grown up on me. Not. At. All. I am so proud of her. She is amazing. She is beautiful. She has been the most wonderful blessing! She is pretty excited about her birthday this year. This is her first birthday since she started school. Last week I went and ordered her cake, Hello Kitty, for her party this weekend and cupcakes for her class on Tuesday. I know that she will love every second of it. And I am sure that I will cry at least once on her birthday..

Wish me luck this week and weekend! I will need it.

Hmmmm

I have been so busy and I am worn smooth out. Man, moving really blows and I am very happy to say that after I get this move complete I will not be moving anymore. :) That within itself makes me a very happy woman. We still have a lot to move but it will get done sooner or later. :) I am not gonna drive myself crazy trying to get it all done in a day or two.

Today was parent/teacher meeting day for me and we got Abby's very first report card. :) She is doing great. I am such a proud Momma! I have known that she was smart since she was born..lol...but know I really really know now. Haha. Really she is doing good in school. She has already learned so much and I can't even imagine what all she will have learned in six more weeks. I am still loving her teacher...well...besides the fact that she is a OU fan....Yea, not good..not good at all. We do lie in TEXAS!!! And no, I do not want to talk about the score of the last game!!! Wow. No good. No good.

Not sure what my plans are tomorrow but I think I may try and take it easy. I have been so busy trying to get things in order and I am tired. I am so glad that I am not working because there is no way in hell that I would be able to get anything done at all and still be alive. Abby was out of school yesterday so I did not have to go help out in her class but I will be back up there on Thursday. Abby went to her book fair today! She was very excited. After the parent/teacher meeting we went and checked it out. She picked out she 3 books and a couple of book marks. It took me back the second she came home with the little flier in her backpack. What kid does not love book fairs???

I have been loving the Rangers and how they have been playing but tonight this game is just making me sick!! I don't get it. It is from one extreme to the next. Out bullpen is not cutting it tonight at all!! I would love nothing more then for them to rally in the 9th inning and kick some ass but I am afraid that is not gonna be the case tonight. But tomorrow is a new day and they will be back on track!

Time to finish the game and I think  that I may sit on the back porch for a bit and listen to the thunder and enjoy the light show. I. Love. Living. In. The. Country.

Happy Tuesday

Yesterday was my first day helping out in Abby's class with Art. It was an adventure to say the least. I am very very lucky to have a well behaved child. She is a handful sometimes but nothing compared to some of the kids in her class. I will be back up there on Thursday and boy am I glad that I did not have to go back up there today...I needed a break. Haha. It was fun being able to see what all they do in class and meeting the kids. Abby really enjoyed it too.

I am so ready to start feeling like myself again.. I am tired of the night sweats and nausea. I have recently stopped taking my Celexa. I have been on it for a couple of years and since Justin and I are trying to have a baby I decided to just get off of it all together. Most Drs say that you can stay on it till your 3rd month but I don't want to have to deal with all the side effects along with being preggo. So I guess that there is no better time then now. I will never get back on anything like this unless it is a HAVE TO type of deal. I have been feeling terrible. I have not taken it in about 2 weeks or a little longer so I am hoping that I start feeling better soon. :)

We have no plans this afternoon and I am so glad. I think that we all really need sometime just to relax. Abby seems to be feeling better. She is still a little nauseous at times but I am pretty sure that is from the high dose of antibiotics. Poor baby girl, she is ready to not have to take medicine 3 times a flippin day!! This script she has to take for 14 days so she has a while till she is all done with them. :(

Yesterday my husband posted the sweetest thing on Facebook....

"Today 10 years ago my wife and I started an adventure that has had it's ups and downs but we are still moving forward and I still love her as much now as I did then. I love you baby."


Aww, how sweet is that??? It made my day. :) Yes, he is right we have had an adventure. I am really surprised that the both of us are alive to tell about it. :) I hope that the next ten years are a little less dramatic and a lot easier.....and I hope the next year includes us having our second child!!!

Weekend Wrap Up

What a weekend.....

My weekend started out super. :) Friday morning I got to help out at school with Teddy Bear Day!! We had a great time. I am so thankful that I am able to be a part of all the activities!! I am blessed!

Friday evening I met Steph at the Oyster Bar for a much needed dinner date! We had drinks, food, laughs and tears! It was great!!! I had a wonderful time. It is amazing how just sitting and talking can make you feel so much better. Thanks for the invite Steph! I hope that we can do it again soon!!!

Saturday morning we were up early for Abby's soccer game. She did not seem to be feeling 100% but she went out there and played and had lots of fun:) Here are a couple of pics.

After the soccer game we headed home to take a nap...we were all tired from having to get up so early, we are not used to getting up early on the weekends. After the nap Abby woke up feeling bad again. She was running a fever and throwing up again so we headed to the ER around 2:30. I was worried that her UTI from almost two weeks ago was not cleared up and that she was getting sick with that all over again. And after being there till almost 8:00 pm we found out that she did still have the UTI and that she had some blood in her urine. We had a terrible time up there. They had to draw blood and give her some fluids...For most of the time that we were up there I am pretty sure that I was in tears. She was breaking my heart. I hate hate hate when my baby girl is sick. When we first got there she was not too bad but the longer we were there the worse she got and she was not happy to find out that she was going to have to have an IV and blood drawn.

She seems to be feeling a little better today. She has not been eating much but she is drinking plenty and watching football with her Daddy and I. :) I hope that tomorrow she will be feeling good enough to go to school. She will not want to stay home. 

Today we are hanging out at the house being lazy and watching football and baseball!!! I am loving it. Hope everyone has a great Sunday evening!!!
