Abigail Jean Adams

Six years ago today I was given the best gift that anyone could ever ask for, my beautiful baby girl!! She was born at 12:46 am, was 21 1/2 inches long and weighed 7 lbs 12 oz. She was the most beautiful thing that I had every seen and still is.

My poor baby girl is sick on her birthday! I. Hate. This. She has been running a high fever off and on all day long. She has spent her birthday in bed watching cartoons, taking meds and doing breathing treatments. I wish that she felt better. It is 6:30 and she is already in bed. :( I just hope that she starts feeling better tomorrow. So if you happen to read this post, say a quick prayer for my sweet girl. 

First post of 2012...

It has been quite sometime since I have had the chance to post anything. I have tried to make a little time here are there to catch up on my blog reading, thank goodness. :)

Things have been so busy with the holidays and all, it has just been crazy. I am ready for the slow down.

My baby girl will be 6 years old on Tuesday.. I am just at a loss about it. Wow. It has been six whole years. I have no idea where the time has gone. It would be great if time could be my friend and not go by so freaking fast! I am not ready for my daughter to be getting all grown up on me. Not. At. All. I am so proud of her. She is amazing. She is beautiful. She has been the most wonderful blessing! She is pretty excited about her birthday this year. This is her first birthday since she started school. Last week I went and ordered her cake, Hello Kitty, for her party this weekend and cupcakes for her class on Tuesday. I know that she will love every second of it. And I am sure that I will cry at least once on her birthday..

Wish me luck this week and weekend! I will need it.

Happy Monday! If that is even possible. :)

Wow, my daughter is NOT a morning person. She was in a bad funk this morning. She acts just like her Daddy in the morning. Haha. I am not really a morning person but I am not in a funk like that. If school started at 930 or 10 she would be fine and have no problems at all but since that is not the case....she has a hard time each and every morning. Bless her heart and mine. :)

I have accomplished a lot this morning. Kitchen is clean, living room is clean, started laundry and I am fixing to jump in the shower and get ready to head to school for Art class with the kiddos. :) Fun stuff.

I loved the Ranger game last night. So thankful that they were able to get a win!! And I hope that it continues tonight! Just want to throw out there that Derek Holland is the man!!! Wow! He was perfect last night! Love him...not really digging the stuff he has got going on on that lip of his but I am digging him and his mad pitching skills!!!

This and That

It has been a while.....I have been busy. We seem to have so many things going on it is hard to make time to sit and relax with a little blogging time. I have missed it. I guess it is a release for me. I just get to sit and let it all out and then I feel better and go on about my business. :)

I will be headed to the school today to help out in about in hour or so. I am really not feeling it today. I think that it is because of the weather. It is so chilly and windy. I freaking love it....well I would love it so much more if I did not have to go anywhere today. But I do so I guess I will just have to deal.

Looks like we should be able to finish up the move this weekend. :) Ughhh, I am so ready to have it all done and over with. I have so much to clean and paint and get ready before my renters (My sister in law and her girls) move in. I am not looking forward to busting ass over there every single day for the next couple of weeks. But again I will have to deal.

I am missing my friends...I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to go and visit them sometime this week. I hope that it is in my cards. :) I need a drink or two with Steph. I miss her like crazy. I need to go and see them all!! But for really it is time for Steph and I to have a date!!!!! I do have some free movie tickets that we need to use. :)

I think that I am going to get with James Deen, my tattoo man, and set up a time where he can hook me up. I am in need of another tat! Yes, I said need. I really feel the need to get another one. I love getting them done:) Maybe it is like blogging in a way...a release...time to relax. Whatever it is I love it and I am ready to get it done. :)

Abby is doing so good in school. I can't believe that she has already been in school long enough to get her report card! That is just crazy to me. And she it still loving every second of it. And that makes me one happy Momma!!! I am so ready to have a baby! We are trying...I am more than ready. Abby is too. And so is Justin. I am ready to have a wonderful addition to our lil family.

Well it is time for me to get a few things done around here and then head to the school. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day!

Weekend Wrap Up

What a weekend.....

My weekend started out super. :) Friday morning I got to help out at school with Teddy Bear Day!! We had a great time. I am so thankful that I am able to be a part of all the activities!! I am blessed!

Friday evening I met Steph at the Oyster Bar for a much needed dinner date! We had drinks, food, laughs and tears! It was great!!! I had a wonderful time. It is amazing how just sitting and talking can make you feel so much better. Thanks for the invite Steph! I hope that we can do it again soon!!!

Saturday morning we were up early for Abby's soccer game. She did not seem to be feeling 100% but she went out there and played and had lots of fun:) Here are a couple of pics.

After the soccer game we headed home to take a nap...we were all tired from having to get up so early, we are not used to getting up early on the weekends. After the nap Abby woke up feeling bad again. She was running a fever and throwing up again so we headed to the ER around 2:30. I was worried that her UTI from almost two weeks ago was not cleared up and that she was getting sick with that all over again. And after being there till almost 8:00 pm we found out that she did still have the UTI and that she had some blood in her urine. We had a terrible time up there. They had to draw blood and give her some fluids...For most of the time that we were up there I am pretty sure that I was in tears. She was breaking my heart. I hate hate hate when my baby girl is sick. When we first got there she was not too bad but the longer we were there the worse she got and she was not happy to find out that she was going to have to have an IV and blood drawn.

She seems to be feeling a little better today. She has not been eating much but she is drinking plenty and watching football with her Daddy and I. :) I hope that tomorrow she will be feeling good enough to go to school. She will not want to stay home. 

Today we are hanging out at the house being lazy and watching football and baseball!!! I am loving it. Hope everyone has a great Sunday evening!!!

Busy Day...

Well today I am gonna be busy. I am about to head out to my Mom's house and start moving things to storage and within the next month we should be all moved in out there. :) Today Justin recruited a couple of guys from work to come and help move the pool table out of what used to be the game room and what will be our room. I am so glad that we are finally getting things going with this. We are all ready to get the show on the road. After the pool table is moved then the rest my Mom and I will be able to handle on our own during the week while everyone else is at work and school. 

The weather today is so great.....if I was in bed sleeping. It is very cloudy and rainy and nice and cool...my favorite time to sleep.

I guess I am headed to grab a latte for my Mom and I and then we are gonna get to work!

Happy Friday!!

My first week of being a stay at home Mom/Wife has been a busy one.

Abby was sick the first part of this week. She went back to school on Wednesday and then soccer practice that evening. Thursday after school she had an appointment at the new salon in town to get feathers put in her hair. She was very, very excited about it. I am not sure that they are worth 25.00 bucks, but she loves them, so I guess they are. :)

Today Abby had school pictures. I can't wait to get the back. I am a little worried about her smile though. She tends to over do it most of the time. Haha. But I am sure that they will turn out wonderful. I was very happy to know that they had their pictures done first thing this morning, I was worried that they would have to wait till after recess and she would be a hott mess when it came picture time. Thank goodness it did not turn out that way. Yesterday I had to run to Walmart to pick up a few things and I found the cutest Hello Kitty flats that I had to get her. She got to wear them today!! And she LOVED them.

Not to sure what the plans are for the weekend but I know that my Hubby is glad that he is NOT on call. He had to work pretty much all last weekend. I think that we are going to try and move the pool table that is at my Mom's house to storage and then my Mom and I can start painting and getting things ready at her house for the big move. I am so ready to get this show on the road. So maybe with some luck we will make some progress this weekend.:)

Tired Mind

I am just worn out. I have been thinking a lot about my baby girl, Abby starting school this year and I am really getting all crazy about it.. I don't think that I am really ready for all of this. It has just happened too fast. She is still my "baby girl". I know that she is ready for it but I am not ready in any form or fashion. Most Moms that I talk to say that the first day of school for their kids was harder on them than it was on the kids and I am sure that will be the case with Abby and I but I am already freaking out. I just hope that I am getting all this out of my system now so that by the time she starts school I will be ok with it. Haha. I am trying to be positive about it. It is just nuts. I start thinking about it as soon as I lay down to go to sleep and then I can't go to sleep because I am all anxious ans having to take a xanax! With the way things are going I am gonna have to get a refill pretty soon. I tell myself that it is so silly to be so anxious about something that is over six months away but it does not good at all! Hell I try to reason with myself and can't...Yea I think that I am losing it. And I have been talking to my husband about having a baby. Haha. Yea like that would be good. I am freaking out with one what the hell would I do with two??

All I know it time goes by way too fast and kiddos grow up way too fast. Don't miss out! You can't go back!!

I am loving this....

I am loving this weather. I really love when it gets colder outside. I would really love for it to snow. I used to be all about the summer but I hae grown to really love fall and winter. Last year we had a really big snow and it was a pain in the butt but I really kinda liked it. It would be perfect if I did not have to worry about getting to work and all of that business.
One of the girls from work was telling me that they are calling this warmer weather that we have been having an Indian Summer. I had no idea what that was until she said something about it. So I guess that it is true, you do learn something new everyday. :)

So my youngest brother, Dalten is getting his senior pics done tomorrow. Wow I really can't believe it. My Mom will no longer have kids of her own in school. Well I guess that she will since Dalten will be in college but she will not have any in school here in town. I am really feeling old at the moment. My daughter will start school next year. Ohhhhh I think that I am fixing to have a panic attack. I just get all crazy thinking about it. I know that she will be fine but I just think that she is growing up way way to fast.

Speaking of babies growing up way to fast. I got to hear the sweetest sound today. It was the sound of a baby's heart beat. A friend that I work with went to the Dr with her daughter today. She is about 101/2 weeks and they recorded the heart beat on her cell phone. OMG. It was so sweet. I really just about cried. I just love all of that. The sonos, listening to the heart beat and the whole works. Being prego is just the greatest thing ever. Oh and I got to see the pics from her sono as well. Soooooo cute. And so sweet. It just makes me want to have a baby right now. :) Hehe. I think that I missed my calling. I think that I would have went to school for OBGYN. Wouldn't it just be amazing to be there for so many births and have such a big part in it??? I think that would just be wonderful. I just love me some babies. I can't wait to see the lil sweet one in person that I saw today in pics.

Well my baby girl and I have a cartoon date in just a few so I have to get all comfy in the bed.:)
